Richard Peters: Wildlife Photographer

Richard Peters Nikon AmbassadorRichard has travelled and photographed in some of the most beautiful and varied parts of the world including Yellowstone National Park, Hawaii, Lake Kerkini on the Greece/Bulgarian border and Africa’s Maasai Mara. When he isn’t behind a camera or holding workshops at home or abroad, Richard also hosts talks about his work which have included venues such as the Natural History Museum, London, as well as representing Nikon at the UK’s biggest trade events, The Photography Show and the BirdFair.

Richard has a flare for using light to create images with mood and drama and, over the last five years, his work has been recognised internationally in the worlds most prestigious competitions including twice in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year and, in 2015, he was also named the European Wildlife Photographer of the Year. In June 2016, Richard was appointed Nikon Ambassador for UK & ROI.

His photos, including the ones on his website and many more, are available for commercial use and additionally, he welcomes bespoke commisions for those with specific requirements. This also extends to writing, which he combines with his images to document various experiences and share technical knowledge, regularly contributing to the UK’s leading photography magazines, as well as producing bespoke content for clients including Sky TV and the Eden Channel. Talks can be arranged upon request, providing a fun, informative and inspiring event to the audience.
