About the event

We've partnered up with Hawkwalk Falconry, Oxfordshire, to bring you up close and personal with some fantastic birds of prey.

Taking place on specifically selected sites around the farm you will have the opportunity to photograph Native Birds of Prey in natural habitats. Availability of species may vary but we hope to have the following species available;

  • Kestrel
  • Barn Owl
  • Tawny Owl
  • Long-eared Owl
  • Merlin
  • Raven
  • Peregrine Falcon

A mixture of both static and flying shots will take place on the day dependant on the birds weights and moult cycles will affect which are suitable for each kind of photograph.

On the day we will meet at the training room for a brief technical overview before getting out and about on the farm to capture images of these stunning birds of prey.

Tea, coffee and squash is available in the training room and transport around the farm will be provided - you just need to turn up!
